These are my three favourite artist so far from all the blogs I have done.
First up Derren Brown Here's his 'The Great Art Robbery' which was fasinating to watch when it aired on British T.V
Photographer Ian Lawson
It was tough picking my favourite as I have quite a few, so I tried to pick them from the first quarter of the year. If you like their work follow the links on the relevant artist to their own Twitter or Facebook account. See if they have a blog too.
Kona Brewing Co Fire Rock IPA
As you hold it up to the light a lovely sunset orange colour glows through, or, as they put it 'the glow of lava'. Yeah I'll go with that description. Smells a fruity maltyness in the bottle, but as I pour I get a waff of fruit, sherbet, malt and biscuit in the glass.
I have a bit of a hoppy taste, but on my first few sips there is a sweetness, as I continue the beer is smooth and it all balances out. The bottle is deceiving because there is a lot in it, although I could have picked up the ½ pint Eden brewery glass by mistake.
Aloa to this beer.

OK the sun is shinning and the weather is beautiful. The flowers are out and blooming. Some have died back and going to seed others are just poking through. But this is a disastrous time for me when it comes to plants. Every year when it gets hot and rains for very short periods I turn the garden first into a desert and then into a monsoon! Which is no good for man, beast nor vegetation! I do it every year, but, this year I am attempting to break that cycle. However we have already had three sunny hot days here in Cumbria and I've already forgotten to water my plants. See I remember to water them when I come home and I want to do it right there and then, but mistake two has been rectified.
I ignore the pull to water in hot weather. I've killed a few plants this way and its only the 100th time my man has told me not to do that, that I take note. So I sit and wait and 10pm comes around and its sleep time and I forget!! Tonight (Friday) I won't! I WILL go and water the plants good and proper. Although it is meant to rain at some point between tonight and Sunday. In Cumbria this is almost a guarantee and I think this is why I forget to water. So my Man tells me I'm still to water them because if it rains tomorrow afternoon those lovely Lavender ears which are now droopy maybe dead by then. And I really don't want to kill it now as they were 3 years ago a cutting from the original (that went the same way) plant which I grew on!
Adventures with Mog
“Hello readers I'm Mog the Chocolate short legged Labrador.
I don't think my legs are short, but according to my owner they are! My owner called Meg said I could tell the world about my adventures so here they are.
I really don't understand why people laugh when she introduces herself and me to new people it confuses me so I politely continue with my sniffing of their fingers in search of Bacon sarnies and Pork pies.
I had my first trip to Cumbria the other weekend. I had lots of smells to smell on three train journeys. But most of the time I spent it laying on the floor coz that Pendulum train (think that's what it was called) was making me all woobly like a three legged donkey.
We had a rude taxi man at Warrington who wouldn't let me in the car, but we didn't have long before the next connection and my owner was worried she couldn't walk quick enough to catch it. Meg is a woobly person on her feet but she is wonderful and takes me for walks every day. I help her with her throwing of balls and cooking (I always have to supervise).
I was excited to see Halfpint and her Man meeting us in Penrith. I couldn't stop sniffing everywhere! New dogs to meet! I surveyed the room when I got to Halfpint's house and immediately found a giant rainbow snake which I tackled to the ground and saved them from being eaten!
I had to survey the house again coz my favourite place wasn't there. I had my nose in everything but the bath was nowhere to be found. I knew where my food was though. Then I found something that led somewhere else. They had a wooden hill which was really strange to go up and down I never seen one of these in a house before. I found the bath up there. I was glad I wasn't sleeping up on the next level.
The first day I saw the sea for the first time. It was all frothy and I thought my ears were going to help me take off at one point, it was that windy. We didn't stay at the Saint Bees (I didn't see any Bee's) place very long it was rainy and the sea was up to the wall. We had a good walk in Keswick though and visited a nice man in a Sheep clothing shop. I was really glad people in Cumbria are friendly and like me, I get to go in lots of shops here to help Meg decided what to buy.

My nickname has nothing to do with any alcoholic measure. It is however all about a friend deciding one day whilst my hair was in plaits I looked like Laura Ingalls in 'The Little House on the Prairie'. She too was a Tomboy and a little short.
