INSPIRATION
In this series of paintings, I was inspired by Rex Ray. I first discovered Rex Ray through being a fan of David Bowie. I really liked the vibrancy of his art. I had not seen any other art like this before later realising his work I had seen was a paper collage pasted onto a canvas. Rex Ray was a graphic designer who loved music and produced many works of arts for the fashion, entertainment and design industries.
