Thanks for checking out my Blog.
As you may have seen, or, about to experience I am a little bit different.
ART
My blogs won't always be about my art, well, you are on my website dedicated to my art you can check it out whenever you please. This bit will be glimpses of other artists I've spotted on my journey into the fresh air and in cyberspace or should that be social media?

BEER
I am no beer Guru lets get this straight, before I moved to Cumbria I didn't like it - it was the smell and after taste that put me off (including wine). A wine expert led me the way by one simple question. Within one fail swoop he found a wine and a beer I liked. I have learnt there is a beer/wine for everyone, it's all about getting the right expert who listens (that's the key), knows his stuff and doesn't just say 'Everyone likes this, it tastes of long hot summers in a Tuscan vineyard' when actually to you its just smells like nail polish remover. With me there is no flouncy fancy beer talk, heck I'm from Yorkshire I say it simply as I say it or taste it.

COVERED IN WEEDS
I am a keen gardener – no wait that's not the way I would describe my style that's for people who actually know what they are doing and don't get paid for it. I'm 'Keen to learn how to stop killing plants' gardener. My Granddad had a knack for taking a nipping (nicking's as I call em) and growing them into something fantastic. I seem however to constantly miss the vital part of remembering to water them. Although this year I did grow a Lupin from seed and a couple of other things.
I'll not tell you where or who my Granddad visited and took a nipping from sometime before 1970 but it's fair to say boy did it grow! My Grandma had it chopped down sometime last year and now the sun can see the grass. That's my inspiration, the giant beanstalk! One day I will become a keen gardener too!

MUSINGS
This part will sometimes be short with or without a link and sometimes longer. It could be about a book I am reading, a Film / TV programme I've seen, a place I've visited, or, just the odd things I do.

Enjoy your week ahead and I'll see you here again this time next week with the happenings in Halfpint land.
